Focuslight

Lightning Fast Graphing/Visualization, built on RRDTool - Ruby clone of GrowthForecast

For GrowthForecast, see: http://kazeburo.github.io/GrowthForecast/

Focuslight has compatibilities with:

  • stored data files
    • database(sqlite) and graphs(rrdtool)
  • almost all of HTTP API requests, except for
    • complex graph creation
    • export supports (focuslight does NOT support it currently)

Currently, focuslight doesn't have some features:

  • MySQL support
  • Disabling Subtract

Installation

RRDTool and its dependencies must be installed before focuslight installation.

  • RHEL/CentOS
    • sudo install rrdtool
  • Ubuntu
    • sudo apt-get rrdtool
  • OSX
    • brew install rrdtool

And then, install focuslight with Ruby 2.0 or later, and execute.

  1. clone this repository
  2. cd focuslight
  3. install dependencies: bundle install
  4. initialize database: bundle exec rake init
  5. execute: bundle exec foreman start

See http://localhost:5125/
