Lists the Personality Strings for PVS Devices

SYNTAX

DESCRIPTION
Lists the Personality Strings for PVS Devices. Run from PVS Server. Must have PVS PSnapIn

PARAMETERS

-Missing [<SwitchParameter>]
    Switch parameter. If present it will only list servers that are missing a personality string.

    Required?                    false
    Position?                    named
    Default value                False
    Accept pipeline input?       false
    Accept wildcard characters?  false

-RightSize [<SwitchParameter>]
    Switch  parameter. If present it will only list servers that have a personality string that is not 32 characters in lenght.

-WhatIf [<SwitchParameter>]

    Required?                    false

SYNTAX
C:\Codevault\github\pvsScripts\set-pvsPersonalityString.ps1 [-PVSDevice] [[-PersonalityString] ] [-WhatIf] [-Confirm] []

DESCRIPTION
Sets the Personality Strings for PVS Devices if missing. Run from PVS Server. Must have PVS PSnapIn

PARAMETERS

-PVSDevice <String>
    Requred string parameter. Device to set the personality string on. Script will check to ensure string is teh correct length and whether one exists already.

-PersonalityString <String>
    Optional string parameter. Value to set personality string to. If not set, script will create a string based on the device name.

Script will check of a personality string exists and add one if missing based on the PVSERVER name.

PS>set-pvsPersonalityString.ps1 -PVSDevice PVSERVER -PersonalityString 'FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFC992'

Script will check of a personality string exists and set FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFC992 as the string if missing.
