Cell Explorer is an experiment with QML to create an interactive and fun Cell Exhibit intended for a museum or library. It will be based on Animal cells at an elementary school level. Currently most of the work is going into the User Interface, with textual content being added later. It is
One of the current challenges that I have ran into is that its hard to make the Cell Explorer much more then a simple display of text and information. Possible solutions would be to "gamify" the different portions of the Cell. For example add a "DNA matching" game to the nucleus, add a "Create Power" in the mitochondria, and a "Protect the Cell" game for the cell membrane.
Current plan would be to finish adding in some more basic information then work to create testing versions of those games before integrating.
It will be developed with QT and QML, and eventually will be run on a Raspberry Pi running a modified version of Raspbian.
