I'm asking for the feature to chose and reverse the perimeter->fill order
(like in Skeinforge).
That option could be usefull in the SLS printer that I'm developing.

Can you elaborate more about why would it be useful?

I also would like to have this option (for my FDM printer).

Without this option printing with only 1 or 2 perimeter (0.3 nozzle) sometimes gives me marks on outer perimeter from infill "bumping" to the wall. BUT this works very bad for first layer (infill likes to have the perimeter to stick better).

-> First layer: print perimeter, then infill
-> Other layer: print infill, then perimeter

Yes, sorry
When you process the nylon powder with laser if you start with perimeter you make a solid "close ring shape" more deformable in the sintering process (shrinkable, twistable), the other reason is if you make first the perimeter, every time lthe laser "infill near the perimeter" you make a little distorsion(fusion) of the perimeter. But if you leave the perimeter as the last operation the final surface is more smooth because of is not influenced by the "infill operation".
Besides many people continue to use skeinforge just because this allows further flexibility to decider the work order.

Implemented. Thank you!

Thanks a lot for this new feature.

Unfortunately it does not work well for FDM printers since using infill first on first layer causes sticking problems (See my comment above).

To work prefect it would be nice to have first layer perimeter first and all other layer infill first.

Thank you for the feature, now Slic3r on SLS work very well!!
