Hi all!

Getting those 4 warnings when adding a stl file to slic3r... all of them in a separate message dialog box:
Use of uninitialized value $lx in subtraction (-) at /opt/Slic3r/lib/Slic3r/Geometry.pm line 1040.
Use of uninitialized value in subtraction (-) at /opt/Slic3r/lib/Slic3r/Geometry.pm line 1040.
Use of uninitialized value $ty in subtraction (-) at /opt/Slic3r/lib/Slic3r/Geometry.pm line 1041.

I updateted my Ubuntu 12.10 today (09.03.2013, 19:00). Dunno if its connected with this problem. Perhabs a library changed?

After remarking those warnings I reinstalled slic3r by removing the hole slic3r folder and git cloning to newes slic3r version (0.9.9-dev from today) and did the sudo perl Build.pl and sudo cpan Wx. Both worked and no errors occured.

I can create gcode. running this gcode in pronterface makes a loud noise from my extruder motor. it seems the extruder ist trying to turn too fast in retraction direction. it onle vibrates after some seconds...

I just remarked at this moment that there was a modification to lib/Slic3r/GCode.pm by alexrj with comment "retract speed was applied to travel".

Dont know if those warnings and the strange behavior of the extruder motor have the same source of problem...

Apparently with default profiles chosen there are no problems... So nothing to do with updated code... going to check the diff of my profile and the default profile...

Ok... I had "First Layer" under Printer Settings-> Advanced set to 200 instead of 200% with a %...
