I have just been trying out 1.1.2 and have been experiencing repeatable crashes whenever I enter the object settings more than once.

  1. Start slic3r
  2. Drag an STL onto the plate (e.g. _40x10.stl)
  3. Click the Settings... button to open object settings
  4. Close the window (no need to make any changes)
  5. Click the Settings... button again
  6. Crash

The log shows:

The program 'slic3r' received an X Window System error.
This probably reflects a bug in the program.
The error was 'BadDrawable (invalid Pixmap or Window parameter)'.
(Details: serial 68336 error_code 9 request_code 137 minor_code 7)
(Note to programmers: normally, X errors are reported asynchronously;
that is, you will receive the error a while after causing it.
To debug your program, run it with the --sync command line
option to change this behavior. You can then get a meaningful
backtrace from your debugger if you break on the gdk_x_error() function.)

I am running on 64bit ubuntu 12.04

Let me know if you need further information.

I can't reproduce this on OS X. Will try on Ubuntu 64bit.

I tested on 64bit Ubuntu 12.04.3 LTS and I can't reproduce this issue with current HEAD or the 1.1.3 binary...
