Because of download and external link tracking we've reached the maximum number of unique event actions per day. In analytics reports within GA we see sampling that lists the event actions as "other".

  • Avoid tracking javascript errors from misbehaving user plugins – reduces noise in reports and reduces events sent to GA
  • Bump frontend toolkit and use: alphagov/govuk_frontend_toolkit#218

Don’t track javascript errors generated by files that don’t match a specified filter. eg external files included by browser plugins.

Non error events are currently tracked ~40,000 times per day (30% of error events tracked).

Avoid tracking errors from misbehaving user plugins.
