@A1L13N While working on the issue, I discovered that there was already a basic video upload option for teachers, but it was quite unoptimized and lacked essential features. I decided to enhance this functionality by implementing several improvements: a progress bar to show upload status, video previews before submission, custom thumbnail generation options, and video compression capabilities to improve performance.
Even though I'm the teacher who created the course and uploaded the materials, I'm seeing an 'Enroll to have access' message when trying to view my own content.
Upon investigation, I found this maybe a pre-existing issue in the codebase. The template checks if a user is enrolled or if the material doesn't require enrollment, but it doesn't check if the user is the teacher who created the course.
could you confirm on this please?

That sounds right about the bug. And sounds good on the video features. Keep in mind we don't want to host them, just link to them on YouTube or Vimeo.
