Create a pretty slide show story about your code katas. This little solution will "record" what you're doing and create an artifact that can be shared.
Like this one: http://amirrajan.github.io/slide-show-kata-ruby/#/toc
From the command line that supports git and ruby run:
- git clone https://github.com/amirrajan/slide-show-kata-ruby.git [TheNameOfYourKata]
- cd [TheNameOfYourKata]
- open your favorite editor
- gem install watchr
- watchr sidekick.rb
The recorder has been initiated at this point. You can now open chrome and navigate to [TheNameOfYourKata]/History/index.html locally.
Whenever you want to create a snapshot of your work, go to any .rb file in the solution and use a "quad comment" block:
At this point a snapshot will be created containing all of your code changes and a slide with your comments.
