Cannot obtain data from Windows shares

From windows shares I cannot obtain data using contents(atPath:…

I receive the following error…
failed to fetch data Error Domain=NSPOSIXErrorDomain Code=5 "Input/output error" UserInfo={NSLocalizedFailureReason=Error code 5: Open failed with (0xc0000033) STATUS_OBJECT_NAME_INVALID.}

I am able to list all directories and paths; but cannot get the data from a file.

This is not an issue on Linux or Mac shares; just Windows

Solved it! After reading some other reported issues here, I dropped the first slash from the path of the file I was requesting data for and now it works. Should have read those before posting.
