i have to tilt my laptop screen at odd angles to see where the track slider is along the bar. The color doesn't stand out well enough.
related issue? http://code.google.com/p/clementine-player/issues/detail?id=219
I'm fine with groove basin being not pink. :)
I've been bothered by this issue about 10 times, so I've finally out and reported it. I first tried to just fix it, but it looks like we're using some packaged ui theme, and it wasn't obvious how to change just what i wanted. I see that all the buttons are the same color, and I'm fine with the next/pause/... buttons being the color they are; it even looks nice. But with the track slider, the important thing is to find where it is in a very large space of possible positions, and the current color doesn't do the trick sufficiently.
Maybe a better solution than coloring the "tab" thing differently would be to color the "before" part of the slider different from the "after" part. It looks like the slider widget we're using is a jquery thing, and I didn't look into seeing if that were easy.
From a design perspective, I like the idea of coloring the before part of the slider different than the after. It would take a bit of cleverness to implement though. Right now we're using a jQuery UI slider without any hackery.
@thejoshwolfe let me know if I should crank up the brightness a little bit.
