Add this to your CSS:

.ngViewport {
    outline: 0 solid;
}

Bye

I'm a CSS sad-sack so I don't know why this would be happening. I don't see anything in the ng-grid.css that would affect the viewport outline. It seems to me that a outline on the viewport post-click doesn't really provide any value. Any other thoughts?

Chrome adds by default an outline to focused text/input boxes and modal divs.

A more concise way to disable this behaviour is setting to 'none' the property:

.ngViewport:focus {
    outline: none;
}

This is how all the demos at http://angular-ui.github.io/ng-grid/ looks like on Chrome. So I think it's a good idea to add this to ng-grid.css.
