Describe the enhancement you want to request
in the 5k+ issues open, i cannot guarantee if any of these have been asked for before, pretty sure they have, but im opening this issue after getting completely frustrated by the priorities. These features actually add user value i would argue rather than tiny things like layout shifts regardless of how cool it may look on X.
I would consider contributing as well, but judging by the number of open PRs, chances of my change getting merged are not high.
My suggestions are for the TUI.
Please considers adding the following.
- Claude like auto mode (it's really a game changer)
- Dynamic MCP ( so we dont have to nit pick on tools allow list in the config)
- Config/MCP live reload (so sessions dont have to be restarted everytime)
- a list of recent session that i can scroll through in the sidebar (when forking session it annoying to use /slash commands to navigate for everything)
- Tips in the bottom to surface new features, most of the features we never even know about. I have to go through the changelog to learn them.
- Opencode takes a very long time to initialize when we have a bunch of MCPs configured and heavt config. Please provide lazy loading so the TUI opens faster.
