python-pkg-resources is likely a python2 package that has since been removed:

ara-collection/roles/ara_api/vars/Ubuntu.yaml

- python-pkg-resources

The python3-pkg-resources package exists just fine.

It also appears libmariadbclient-dev has been replaced by default-libmysqlclient-dev.
