@drakeyboy thanks a lot for the feedback. I'm already working on a fix and will be release shortly. Meanwhile here is a workaround, that I've also added to your original issue:

Already fixed and released the new version. The App Store version is pending on the Apple review process, hopefully to be done quickly.

Thanks for the fix. I'm still getting the prefences pane pop up everytime I compress
Its the smaller one - not settings. Was not happening before
