I've been getting the following error any time I open a a CSS/SCSS file: https://img.skitch.com/20120419-k64w3sfqyuif6y5ia4k9cxkpak.png. It appears to have started as of 7e11e6d.

I wasn't able to spot the issue, but please let me know if I can offer any more info.

Ah! Of course! You must have an eol marker set in listchars, like @bjeanes had in #6, and that derails the self-modification code. I couldn’t figure out at the time what the problem was.

D’oh. Let me fix that and get back to you.

OK, please give d812b6c a spin. Does that solve your issue?

Yep, that was it - I did indeed have eol set in my listchars. d812b6c resolves the issue. Thanks for the quick fix!
