django-rcal

This Django app provides an flexible event calendar to manage resources. It allows users to reserve resources and features a flexible rules system which can be extended with a few lines of code.

Installation

First, install the app with your favorite package manager, e.g.:

pip install django-rcal

Alternatively, use the repository on Github.

Then configure your Django site to use the app:

  1. Add 'rcal' to your INSTALLED_APPS setting.
  2. Enable USE_TZ and set REGISTRATION_DEFAULT_GROUP if needed.
  3. Use South or manage.py syncdb to create the needed tables.
  4. The :doc:`rulesystem </rulesystem>` page provides a description of it's functionality and extendability.

django-rcal uses versiontools to manage version numbers following PEP 386.
