Version: 7.05.6
CUPS.org User: semzx.newmail

CUPS version: 1.1.18, compiled from source
ESPGS: 7.05.6, compiled from source
gimp-print: 4.2.4, compiled from source

The file test.ps produced by printing to a file from OpenOffice.org prints OK. But when I do psnup -2 test.ps test2.ps and try to print test2.ps with gimp-print on a DeskJet 610C (pcl-601.ppd), garbage comes out. Printer drivers not related to gimp-print work OK. I will attach those test PostScript files and the ppd file to this report.

To debug, I have modified the pstoraster script to duplicate the output of GS into a file. The count of bytes in the output raster differs significantly for test2.ps and test.ps. Indication of the reason: wrong resolution and color depth appear in the debug output of GS.

psnup doesn't produce DSC-compliant output.
