Currently there are several tools
(mainly lpstat and lpoptions)
with various options where each option
outputs a particular snippet of the
available information in a particular
human readable text format.

I like to ask for a new tool "lpdump"
which outputs all available information
for print queues or for print jobs
in a format which is also machine-readable
(e.g. keyword-value pairs).

Perhaps ipptool in CUPS 1.5 can already do this.
If yes, some more ready-made ipptool standard files like
get-all-queues-information.test
get-all-jobs-information.test
would be very nice to have.
