I think best way to start working on this is to compile Swift on CentOS7. I will give it a try.

I am already looking into this one, but would appreciate any findings posted to the issue.

I have already built on fedora23 and fedora22 which is basicaly the same level as rh7/centos7
There is one blocker bug with a workaround, see
