Request for Nest membership and funding (#148)

Team name: Aragon Mesh

Proof of concept / research whitepaper: N/A

Burn rate: $15k/month for 6 months

One-time payments:

  • $5k - for bounties
  • $5k - for attending events/hackathons (we will try to attend any events Aragon is sponsoring and which Flock teams cannot dedicate people or wants help with)

The idea behind having bounties is that we can engage the community and perhaps for our next proposal include one more person. Events are also nice for the team to meet, organize workshops and to raise awareness of Aragon’s mission.

Legal structure: Aragon DAO

Team and Roadmap

Proposal

We've touched on most parts of the Aragon stack and we feel fully comfortable maintaining and continuing the development (as no product is ever finished) of the aragonCLI & related repositories (boilerplates; aragen; etc.).

We will also:

  • Aim to facilitate the collaboration of the Flock teams around the common infrastructure, as the teams mentioned that they would like to add new features to the aragonCLI.
  • Strive to provide as much transparency as possible, in the spirit of trustless collaboration (minimizing risk for all the stakeholders).

Note: Prior work (that started in February) would be compensated by this grant. We expect these funds to last up until and including August and hopefully this grant will be the first of many.

Thank you so much for this, it all looks amazing, and given all the work done, the goodwill built in the community and the importance of the project for the Aragon ecosystem, we'd be happy to approve this grant.

It's also very appreciated that it is under budget compared to Issue 148.
