Aragon Network: Staking component

Description: A generic Staking contract for users to lock tokens into. External managers may be set for a user's stake that can control the staked balance (by transferring it to other delegates).

Its most important features are:

  • Anti-sybil protection: by means of Checkpointing mechanism. It complies with ERC900 interface with history. Similar to what MiniMe tokens provide.
  • Slashing: through locking functionality, with its logic decoupled to allow for those external managers. New interface to be published for standardization.

Planned usage: In tandem with the Court, as part of the deposit flow in each organization's "Proposals" flow.

Contracts:

Status: Pending a final round of internal reviews, to be finalized by end of May.
