Contributor Gatherings

Archivematica Contributor Gatherings

Contributor Gatherings are a place where current and future Archivematica contributors can meet to discuss current work and future plans. It is also a chance to discuss contribution blockers with Artefactual and suggest improvements. The main goal of the Gatherings is to bring the contributor community together, fostering vibrant discussions and new connections. At Artefactual, we want to reduce the risk of being a single point of failure for cultural memory software and the vibrant communities that surround them. By bringing contributors together, we open that discussion.

Anyone who submits issues, code, or documentation is welcome to join the discussion. We aim to host these at least twice per year. Some Gatherings will have guest speakers or specific topics of interest, which will be communicated in the invitation. Information on the next Gathering, as well as previous ones, is listed below.
