I just have to say - claiming not to use ajax on a datepicker is like promising no arsenic in a bag of potato chips. XD

hehe, true, I didn't write it though. In the time the first version of this datepicker was written (by monkeyphysics), there was a good looking MooTools plugin that actually used php/ajax to do all the date stuff... so I think at that time this was a big advantage.
