Welcome to the EMO wiki!

Emo is a friendly web app to help your child express her/his feelings and find a solution with you*.

Emo Thumb

Emo is pretty simple to use.

1: Choose the Emotion

On the bottom of the page, Your child can choose between different emotions he might feel:

She/He can choose between:

  • Happy
  • Sad
  • Angry
  • Afraid
  • Tired
  • Shy
  • Bored
  • Confused

2: Choose the "Level" of the Emotion

Once she/he chose the emotion, a slider will appear on the left and your child can choose the "level" of her/his feeling.

For example she/he can be :

  1. Happy
  2. Very Happy
  3. Very Very Happy

3: Choose a Solution

Then, click on the light bulb to find a solution that could help her/him deal with her/his feeling.

She/He can choose between:

  • Hug
  • Be Alone
  • Talk
  • Sleep
  • Share
  • Need help

You can help Emo to speak in your own language!

It's very easy, visit the [Translate Emo page](Help Translate Emo) to know more.

This app is not intended to replace a specialist advice. I created this app with my son, I'm not a pediatrician and I don't have any official diploma in the psychology field. I'm just a father of a 6-year-old who wanted to let my son express his own feelings.
