I've actually been using :compiler gotest myself (though TT mapping in "Tips"), and find testing everything often isn't what you want when you're in a _test.go file. Instead, I usually want to run go test -run TestCurrentFunction.

This should be easy to do. Perhaps something like:

  • In test file? Run current test function
  • In non-test file? Run last test function if filename matches _test.go filename, otherwise just run go test.
