Issue Overview

If not all the branches are checked out when cloning the local repository, such commands will fail

╰─ git clone http://localhost:8989/test-repo --branch test
Cloning into 'test-repo'...
fatal: Remote branch test not found in upstream origin
Expected Behaviour

Switches to the target branch, if present, after clonning

Current Behaviour

Fails with fatal: Remote branch test not found in upstream origin.
