I've installed this template and it looks great, but if I try to change any of the template specific settings, it doesn't apply for some reason.

I think this might be down to permissions, I've set everything to writable under lib/tpl/vector/conf , but can't seem to change any settings.

Can you advise?

Thanks.

This is not your fault and the "lib/tpl/vector/conf" dir should be read-only (as these files are just providing meta data and default values for the dokuwiki config parser).

The way the configuration gets parsed by DokuWiki was changed after Binky RC2, so this affects the current DokuWiki Binky final only. There will be an vector-update to fix this issue within the next two days.

@andreashaerter andreashaerter Fix Issue #22, 2013-12-08 "Binky" compatibilty issue (un-saveable con…

All onoff configuration switches do not get saved when the user changes
the value. The reason was that I used true|false for "onoff" switches
although only 1|0 was allowed [1] (never noticed this).

It worked for years but the way the configuration gets parsed by DokuWiki
was changed [2] [3] after Binky RC2, so the bug affects the current
DokuWiki Binky final only.

New release is out, just get it from https://www.dokuwiki.org/template:vector - simply uncompress and copy it over your current /lib/tpl/vector for an upgrade (see https://www.dokuwiki.org/template:vector#update for detailed instructions)
