This bug is a symptom of the following base-bug:

browserstate/history.js#173

I have now solved this by not ajaxifying links that contain a hash, as they are not jumped to properly otherwise...

However, if one does the following (e.g. on http://4nf.org/ -> sidebar):

  • Start from a URL containing a hash
  • Click an ajaxified link
  • Click the back button

... nothing happens.

In Firebug / Chrome, no error is registered.
"statechange" is not even triggered.

Just nothing happens...

Any ideas why?

Solved by adding l.hash = ""; to function parseLink() in plugin setupClicks!
As soon as Balupton History supports hash handling this can be changed.

Solved from version 2.0.0 onwards by procuring Pronto.js
