Hi, I'm newbie with Philips serie 7300 and I'm trying to change some remote keys behavior
I use a key mapper (Android) and HTTP shortcut maker (Android)

So I need to know how to code this actions

  1. Made Ambilight change ON/OFF - not using Ambilight setup menu
  2. Select a HDMI source (1-2-3-4) or better if I can switch between some selected sources with one key. i.e (TV- HDMI 1 - HDMI 2)

Hi and thanks for this stuff!

I will test it soon with my 2019 Philips TV but would like to ask before, if you can comment on this situation?

PSA (Public Service Announcement) for people with a model from 2019
Your TV might, or might not work with this app.

TP Vision (manufacturer of Philips TV’s) has apparently disabled(or bricked) the Jointspace protocol somewhere during this year. Their own official app doesn’t even work anymore. If they disabled it, it will probably never be supported again. If the bricked it, it might be resolved by a future software update. Sadly there is no way to know which it is and nobody at TP Vision who’s willing to talk to me. You can test if your TV still supports the Jointspace protocol by trying to control it from the Android app [https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.tpvision.philipstvapp]."

At the moment I'm able to see content via http://philipstv:1925/system but I can't send any HTTP Post Keys (f.e. via curl or HA-Bridge). For example:

Type: HTTP Device
Target Item: http://philipstv:1925/1/input/key
HTTP Verb: POST
HTTP Body: { "key": "Standby" }
Content Type: application/x-www-form-urlencoded

Hello,

Thanks for your script !
I'm trying to run it on Windows. Philips TV model is 32HFL5014/12

I tried to run it with Cygwin and Git.
With Git after setting TV IP and trying an option (increase volume) i have this result (the pin is correctly displayed on TV)
GIT

With Cygwin, the pin doesn't display at all
Cygwin

Am i doing something wrong ?

Thanks for your help !

Hello,

I have some questions and maybe do you have the answer ?

1°) Where is stored the pin code, on TV, on PC ? I tried to control another TV from the same PC and it didn't ask for the pin (the TV model is different)
2°) Is it possible to control the TV from internet ? (I tried to put my phone as an access point and connected the TV on it. I then tried to change a channel and the script doesn't respond)

Thanks !

Hello, excellent work.I need to change the time zone of my TV (by default it has +-2; +-1 and 0) but my timezone is -3. Because of this problem, the guide of the TV is always wrong. The TV can set to manual clock, but when i shut it down, it turns into automatic time.
Do you have a list of commands? or you know how to change the time zone? thanks very much!
