When having created an IR-device it's not possible to edit the device anymore. You have to delete and recreate it. Related to #264

+1. Manually adding buttons later would be very helpful

I understand your concerns. However, currently we don't really have an 'edit'-wizard, only a pairing wizard, which cannot really be used to edit existing devices (or at the very least; it wouldn't be logical to put edit functionality there). I'll see if I can put this into the device settings or something.

To be exact; does this entail only the manually pairing of a remote, or only the automatic detect, or both?

For me: the edit functionality especially handy for thee manually pairing. When the device is added with a couple of buttons added and I forgot a button, I have to recreate the device now.

For me just the manual pairing of a remote.

I switched the volume up and volume down name labels when adding the remote manually and would like to correct this.

Considering this and those of other users I would focus on changing the settings of manually added controls with these functions:

  1. Changing the labels
  2. Adding new buttons
  3. Removing existing buttons

Whoops, this issue was tagged with the wrong labels and therefore got closed.

Great, I thought I lost it. Have been searching for half an hour on how to edit, lol.

Is there any progress on this issue?
Yesterday I spent an hour teaching EVERY BUTTON on an infrared remote, (Humax fvp4000-t). It seemed to go well, but when I use the 'press a button' card in a flow not all of them worked.

Please tell me there is now a way to delete and relearn only the affected buttons instead of going through the entire process from scratch.

In this instance Homey is acting as a universal learning remote, and an 'edit' function would seem to be indispensable.

+1 This would be a very handy feature. Together with the option to change the labels, and use them to kick off a flow.
