The fonts are so small they're almost unreadable. Is there a way to change this?

I'm on Linux if it's important.

Adding this to your styles.less should do the trick:

@font-size: 14px;
html, body, .tree-view, .tab-bar .tab {
  font-size: @font-size;
}

At some point I'd like to make this editable by changing one selector, or allow for the theme variables to be overridden, but for now this will have to do.

Yes. You can change it in your style.less folder in ~/.atom.

You might want to add .status-bar to that list.

After some tweaking I ended up with this setup:

@font-size: 1rem;

html,
body,
.tree-view,
.tooltip,
.tab-bar .tab,
.find-and-replace .find-meta-container,
atom-text-editor[mini],
.btn,
.status-bar,
linter-message {
  font-size: @font-size;
}

Does anyone know how could I make @font-size change along with zoom levels? E.g. ctrl+/-/scroll-up/down. Thanks!

Where can I find the Atom dom elements? I'd also like to change font size in the search/replace view

Trying to make the font larger in the search-and-replace panel but not
having any luck. Any ideas?

I second this!!!

Recently I gave VSCode a whirl and it had one absolutely fantastic feature: CMD +/- increased EVERY font size throughout the entire UI. Tollbar, Folder Tree, Statusbar - everything. Even the scrollbar and popup diaglogs had the correct super-large font size.

^- before

screen shot 2016-06-05 at 10 40 08 am

^- after. that's a fullscreen shot at 3840x2400! I blew everything up for a screenshare I did on Friday where some team members said they couldn't see my font.

It's a really slick effect, especially for doing Meetups Presentations, Screencasts and even Screensharing (for those on little 11" laptops or 13" laptops). Just make a few CMD-+ to blow everything up to enormous size and everyone is happy.

How can we bring this to Atom?

@elektronik2k5 (and others)

We've figured out how to bind this to a shortcut key. See here: #11905 (comment)

I'll addon to what @elektronik2k5 put. This changes the tree view.

@font-size: 1rem;

html,
body,
.tree-view,
.tooltip,
.tab-bar .tab,
.find-and-replace .find-meta-container,
atom-text-editor[mini],
.btn,
.status-bar,
.list-tree li.list-nested-item > .list-item {
  font-size: @font-size;
}

This should be shipped with Atom by default, really helps with higher resolution screens.

I didn't find anything to do it without changing stylesheet...

Btw, this is how you can change it : Edit > Stylesheet...

most of the default themes have their own settings page which will allow you to change the ui font size. See examples here: #13055

@uid89626 I think that is native UI, thus can be changed by system settings.
