No Alt Gr (right Alt) support on Windows #3589

There are several keyboard layouts (i.e. Latin American) that make use of the right Alt key (labeled as Alt Gr) as a special helper key, different from the left Alt.
For example, in my keyboard I use Alt Gr + Q to print the @ symbol.
This is not working on Atom 0.129.0, Windows 8.1 Pro, American English with a Latin American keyboard layout. The right Alt is simply handled the same as the left Alt, with no special functions.
There are several quite common characters I'm not able to use, such as \, @, ~, etc.

Yes, I'm afraid that's the case on any OS. Alt-Gr isn't supported very well and there are a number of issues open for it already.

Follow this one to see when something happens on this front:
atom/atom-keymap#35

This will be addressed by atom/atom-keymap#35 as @batjko pointed out.

in the package section : search keyboard-localization -> selection of the layout (ex: fr_FR)
resolved my problem with Alt Gr !
