Uncaught Error: Atom can only handle files < 2MB for now.

Atom Version: 0.153.0
System: linux 3.13.0-40-generic
Thrown From: tree-view package

@benogle: Should this error be allowed to be sent as an Atom issue, seeing as it's really a limitation, not a bug?

We should leave this open for now so the exception notification links to
this issue. We should change this to be a different type of notification
soon so it isn't an exception

Comparing this to other text editors its a rather obnoxious limitation

I hope you guys are going to improve on this in the future. This file size limitation is currently the only reason for me to use any other editor, e.g. when viewing long log files, etc.

I wrote a package called view-tail-long-files. Check it out. It can
scroll through a gigabyte file as fast as you can scroll.

Got this error today while trying to open 172 MB file

Version 0.165 still has the same limitation while many text editor comparable with Atom don't

This is clearly an issue as it forces to use other tools for debugging some systems that are producing large log files.

I think this should be re-opened so the users running previous versions of atom don't keep opening new issues for this.

There'll be less issues coming in as more and more people upgrade to newer versions of Atom.
