| <P><STRONG>This new facility officially opened on May 16, 1997 at a cost of 7.8 million taxpayer dollars. It is open year round and consists of 200 slips, ranging from 30' to 70'. The marina is also capable of mooring whale killing vessels up to 200' in length. (Though we prefer to use our 22 foot speed boats to kill from it is more fun that way.) The new marina is also conveniently positioned next our proposed whale and seal processing plant. The Harbor Master monitors VHF channels 16 and 88. Call the National Makah Whaling Service (206) 526-6150 for more information and rates.</STRONG></P></TD></TR></TABLE></CENTER></DIV> | |
