| <CENTER>cold-blooded murders, torture and rape of thousands of innocent | |
| Kashmiris, </CENTER> | |
| <CENTER>Sikhs and Christians in Indian-Occupied Kashmir, East Punjab and | |
| Nagaland. </CENTER> | |
| <CENTER>SAJA has strongly condemned the ongoing illegal Indian air and | |
| ground </CENTER> | |
| <CENTER>attacks on the Kashmiri freedom forces in Indian-Held Kashmir and | |
| demanded </CENTER> | |
| <CENTER>that all Indian military forces must immediately withdraw from | |
| Occupied </CENTER> | |
| <CENTER>Kashmir. </CENTER> | |
| <CENTER>"It is time for a plebiscite in the disputed State of Jammu and | |
| Kashmir, </CENTER> | |
| <CENTER>which is required by the United Nations resolutions on Kashmir. | |
| That's why </CENTER> | |
| <CENTER>India must withdraw its 700,000 troops from Indian-Held Kashmir," | |
| said Asim </CENTER> | |
| <CENTER>Mughal, Director of the SAJA California Chapter (SAJA-CA). "We | |
| believe no </CENTER> | |
| <CENTER>fair and just plebiscite can take place under the guns of Indian | |
| Army and </CENTER> | |
| <CENTER>heavily armed paramilitary forces of India." Mughal added: "Indian </CENTER> | |
| <CENTER>Government must restore all human and civil rights of the people | |
| of Kashmir </CENTER> | |
| <CENTER>and grant the fundamental right of self-determination to all Kashmiris." </CENTER> | |
| <CENTER>Commenting on the 52-year-old Kashmir dispute and its solution, | |
| Syed Adeeb </CENTER> | |
| <CENTER>said: "India claims that Kashmir is Indian territory, but this | |
| is the </CENTER> | |
| <CENTER>biggest Indian fraud of the 20th century because the Indian claim | |
| is false, </CENTER> | |
| <CENTER>baseless and fraudulent. The claim has been rejected by all the | |
| oppressed </CENTER> | |
| <CENTER>people of Kashmir and challenged by Pakistan. It has never been | |
| accepted by </CENTER> | |
| <CENTER>the United Nations, the United States, Russia, China, Britain, | |
| France, </CENTER> | |
| <CENTER>European Union, NATO and OIC and never legally validated by any | |
| country in </CENTER> | |
| <CENTER>the whole world." </CENTER> | |
| <CENTER>The journalist went on to say: "Demilitarization of the disputed | |
| State of </CENTER> | |
| <CENTER>Jammu and Kashmir through withdrawal of all outside forces followed </CENTER> | |
| <CENTER>immediately by a plebiscite under the impartial control of the | |
| United </CENTER> | |
| <CENTER>Nations, NATO or OIC to determine the ultimate status of the State | |
| of Jammu </CENTER> | |
| <CENTER>and Kashmir is the only reasonable and viable solution to the Kashmir </CENTER> | |
| <CENTER>dispute at this time." </CENTER> | |
| <CENTER>He emphasized that the direct intervention of the international | |
| community to </CENTER> | |
| <CENTER>stop Indian aggression and crimes against human rights in Kashmir | |
| is </CENTER> | |
| <CENTER>necessary and should not be avoided for political, trade or foreign | |
| policy </CENTER> | |
