| <h3>Admissions Procedures for Certificate Programs</h3> | |
| <p>Submit completed application with a $15.00 non-refundable | |
| application fee. Certain certificate programs may require | |
| placement testing and other related documents. Contact the Office | |
| of Student Services for more information.</p> | |
| <h3>Admissions Procedures for Diploma and Cooperative Degree | |
| Programs</h3> | |
| <p>Submit completed application with a $15.00 non-refundable | |
| application fee. Request the last high school attended to forward | |
| an official transcript to the Student Services Office. GED scores | |
| may also be accepted. Transcripts from colleges and/or technical | |
| schools attended must be submitted. A high school diploma or GED | |
| is required for admission into some programs. All students must | |
| have a GED or high school diploma prior to graduation. Make | |
| qualifying scores on the placement test offered at Lanier | |
| Technical Institute. SAT or ACT scores may be used in place of | |
| placement testing. Some programs may have additional requirements. | |
| Contact the Office of Student Services for detailed information.</p> | |
| <h3>Registration</h3> | |
| <p>Applicants will receive an official acceptance letter, which | |
| will specify a date and time to report for registration. Final | |
| acceptance will depend upon completed application and space | |
| availability in the program. If an application cannot be | |
| processed for the quarter indicated due to the program being | |
| filled or not beginning that quarter, the file will be processed | |
| for the next available quarter. A $25.00 late fee will be charged | |
| at late registration.</p> | |
| <h3>Fees</h3> | |
| <p>Tuition and fees for full-time students are $298.00 plus books | |
| and supplies. These fees are paid each quarter. Fees are $21.00 | |
| per credit hour. Additional quarterly fees include a $25.00 | |
| activity fee and a $21.00 registration fee. Books and supplies | |
| cost extra.</p> | |
| <h3>Financial Aid</h3> | |
| <p>Students who have applied and have been approved to receive | |
| Financial Aid may register by invoice during the registration | |
| process. Tuition, activity fees and registration fees may be | |
| funded by Financial Aid. Students should be prepared to pay | |
| insurance fees and exemption fees. Contact the Office of | |
| Financial Aid for more information by calling 770.781.6946.</p> | |
