<p><font size="3">HP warrants the product against defects in materials and workmanship for
one year from the date of original purchase. During the warranty period, HP will repair or
replace a product that proves to be defective. (Replacement may be made with a new or
reconditioned product, or with a newer model of equal or better functionality.) This
warranty does not apply if the product has been damaged by accident or misuse or as the
result of service or modification by other than an authorized HP service center. </font></p>
