In Azad Kashmir</font>
<p>Fifteen members of a family were slaughtered by Indian troops in Lanjot
village
<br>of Kotil district in Azad Jammu and Kashmir late on Thursday night.
<br>In military uniforms, equipped with small automatic weapons and hand
grenades,
<br>seven assailants sneaked into a house in Lanjot village after crossing
the Line of Control
<br>and slit the throats of inmates of a house with bayonets and opened
fire, killing 11
<br>of them on the spot and wounding five others. Four of the injured succumbed
to
<br>injuries at the District Headquarter Hospital, Kotli.
<br>Four children, aged 2 to 10 and six women were among the victims.
<br>The attackers took with them the heads of three bodies, the only survivor
<br>Muhammad Yunas told the police at the DHQ Hospital. He said seven persons
<br>clad in Indian military uniforms barged into the house of Murtaza s/o
Abdul Hamid
<br>at about 1:00am on Friday and slaughtered the inmates.
