| <p>To control all aspects of manufacturing parts and complete machines, West has invested in and has in place significant fabrication and welding facilities. In these facilities, basic fabrication and welding (GTAW, SMAW, MIG, FLUXCORE) is used in connection with individual customer requirements or for use in complete machinery building.</p> | |
| <p>Adding to our versatility, West also manufactures pressure vessels in accordance with the American ASME pressure vessel code and also the European TUV code. These vessels are not cylindrical tanks but are plate, pipe or jacketed pipe weldments. These types of items usually require extensive machining and non destructive testing. Dye penetrant inspection, ultrasonic inspection, radiographic inspection and various types of pressure testing such as hydrostatic, dowtherm, halogen leak testing, water over air testing is handled within the West facility.</p> | |
