<font class="listgreen">Description:</font>mIRC is a chat program. The IRC part stands for Internet Relay Chat. mIRC is a very
useful program for 2 reasons. One, it's instantaneous chat, which means that as soon as you hit "enter" the text appears on the
other user's screens. Second, all of the DR2 community's chats are held on IRC servers, and mIRC is the fastest and best way to
get there.<p>

<font class="listgreen">Description:</font>How did internet users ever get along without this little gem? Getright is a download
manager that lets you pause and resume downloads (in case you become disconnected, bump the restart button on your computer, etc.),
plus, you can schedule downloads, and GetRight will dial your modem, download, hang up, and even shut off your computer; all
totally automated. If you ever plan on downloading ANYTHING, get this program.<p>

<font class="listgreen">Description:</font>Ok, so maybe you don't use an FTP program for anything, that's fine, don't download it.
And yes, trying to recomend an FTP program to anyone involved with FTP stuff is like trying to recomend a 3D accellerator to a
room full of hardcore gamers. Well, I'm gonna do it anyway. I found that Cute FTP is by far the best FTP client out there, it
presents a windows-like interface and simplifies everything so much that you don't even need to know any unix commands to run it.
However, if UNIX commands are your bag (seek professional help), it still allows manual input of commands. Well worth the download

<font class="listgreen">Description:</font>Ok, you're probably wonering: "What the hell does Winamp have to do with DR2?" The
answer: absolutely nothing. However, Winamp is so cool that it deserves a spot in this little section. Plug-ins, skins,
visualization, and of course, MP3s make Winamp the best audio player out there. Quoting a good freind of mine: "I have no respect
for any computer user that doesn't use Winamp." Confused? Go check it out.<p>
