But the tendency is on the former. Why? Just look at human history, we are what we are today because of "trials and errors" that were done before. Are we in a bad shape right now? <br>We did not ask our rights when men landed on the moon which took away a large amount of money which could be funneled to help the needy people. We did not ask our rights when mankind tested the first atomic bomb which in my opinion lead to a more peaceful, restraining world. We did not ask our rights when Columbus explored the new world which created "U S A". So no next generations will ask their rights about what will happen to them. But it is our responsibility to see to it that the next generations will be better off but of course remember "trials and errors" experiences will always be there. | |

Since you want more arguments, I am here to continue the discussion: What I meant by 'no real threat' is that no countries in this world right now can just use the bomb irresponsibly just like what we saw in the Cold War. What I am trying to say here is that in all things that humans explore or invent, there will be errors at first (by that I mean not being able to handle it properly) but because of our nature, we tend to improve situations or minimize all negative elements.
