<p align="left"><small>&nbsp; The Research class students are working on their ten page
reports.&nbsp;&nbsp; Students get to choose which topic they want to research.&nbsp; This
is the second report they're writing;&nbsp; last semester they wrote a five page length
report.&nbsp;&nbsp; Students get almost all the classtime to work.&nbsp; They were able to
obtain materials from the school library, the internet, magazines, the Grand Forks
library, and from the Sirs resource.</small><br>
<small>&nbsp; The first step in writing a report is to choose a topic with plenty of
available information.&nbsp; After narrowing the topic they collect source materials.
&nbsp;&nbsp; Next they prepare a preliminary outline.&nbsp; When reading the sources,
notes are written on index cards.&nbsp; The cards are organized into the order they will
be used in the paper.&nbsp; A rough draft is made and revised.&nbsp; The final report
needs a title page and bibliography page.</small><!--mstheme--></font></td>

<small>As the year comes to an end, and graduation is just around the corner, it is time
for the senior class after graduation party. The seniors at Cavalier High School will be
taking off for Winnipeg, Sunday evening, May 28th, at 7:45 p.m. from the
school. At around ten o&#146;clock the class will be arriving at the M.S. Paddlewheel
Queen, to board the boat and cruise down the river. On the boat they will be entertained
with James Grant, a world famous hypnotist. James will be performing his talent on the
students that are willing to volunteer to fall under his power. As well as the
entertainment, there will also be food and drinks that the students can order on the boat
during the time they are there. After the boat ride, the class will then be taking off to
the Dark Zone, in Winnipeg&#146;s Adventure City, to enjoy pizza, pop, and laser tag. The
laser tag facility features a giant, soft play structure, speed slides, bridges, tunnels,
tubes, and much more. All of the class will be able to play at one time; the game allows
50 or more to play at once. Then after a tiring night, the class will board the bus to
head back home again, and arrive back around 5:30-6:00 Monday morning.</small></font><!--mstheme--></font></td>
