<P>According to this <A href=http://www.wirednews.com/news/politics/0,1283,38055,00.html>Wired News</A> story, Democratic Vice Presidential candidate Joe Lieberman loves gun control, opposes Social Security privatization, is a proponent of mandating v-chip technology in television sets, co-sponsored the Media Violence Labeling Act, and pressured Time-Warner into selling its Interscope label.</P>
<P>The New York Times <A href=http://www.nytimes.com/library/politics/camp/080800wh-lieberman.html>reports</A> (free reg. required) that he has voted for gun control, tax increases and consumer protections, has supported minimum wage increases, and is an enthusiastic military spender.</P>

If you grew up with video games (I'm talking Sega Genesis and Super Nintendo) then you know Lieberman, he was the one who wished he could ban them constitutionally. He's used this, and other similar issues, to grandstand for years.<p >
Basically, the way to look at Joe Lieberman is that he is anti-freedom accross the board. When you combine him with Al's wife, Tipper (of music censorship and labeling), you have a ticket that is good old fashioned nightmare fuel.<p >
If a Gore & Lieberman ticket makes it into the White House, you can say good-bye to not only the Second Amendment (which is an assumption that you have to make with any Democratic ticket) but to the First as well... and perhaps any other pesky amendments that get in the way.<p >
I''''m not sure what to do here, I was going to vote for Harry Browne, and hopefully I can stick to my guns, but I am terrified that fiscal liberals who also think like the Moral Majority could get into office, and dismantle the U.S. Constitution.
