China people still don't have the rights they deserve. There are over
1.200.000.000 people in China at this very moment and they get pushed
around by a communist government that controls their every movement.<br>
<br>
People get arrested, tortured or receive extreme punishments for small
things. People in China do not get to have more than one kid: any second
kid will be put up for adoption and a heavy fine will be issued.<br>
<br>
This used to be discussed, talked about, this used to be a point on the
agenda of the world leaders. It was topic of discussion all the way into
the UN. Nobody agreed what was happening. I don't think people agree
now, but for some reason it is dead quiet around that subject.<br>
<br>
Why you might ask. Because they stopped? Of course not, China does it
more and more behind closed doors, but what is more: the big companies
have invested and are investing more and more money into China's economy
because they are a cheap source of good labor. They don't want you to
know what is really going on.<br>
<br>
Things are changing in China, the biggest McDonalds in the world is in
Bejing, the capital of China, the Internet has reached China. There
is a couple of times more pirated Microsoft software in China than there
is real Microsoft software. Yet...<br>
The Internet is being censored too. A lot of sites are not allowed and
put on blacklists, ISP's are required by law to allow monitoring by
government officials.<br>
<br>
People try to get away, to a better life. And obviously they are willing
to pay great amounts of money, 10.000, 20.000$ US just for a ticket to
the United States or Europe. They go on rickety boats and risk their
lives just to be in a different country. Surely something is wrong then.<br>
<br>
You can help by writing, E-mailing the Chinese government and your own
government to let them know you care and you want to make a difference.<br>
<br>
To the Chinese government: give the people of china the rights they
deserve.<br>

<p><font face=Arial size=2>En ce moment, en Chine, la population n'a pas les droits qu'elle mérite.<br>
Ils sont plus de 1200000000 habitants à se faire diriger dans tous leurs<br>
mouvements par un gouvernement qui se dit communiste.<br>
<br>
Les habitants sont arrêtés et torturés pour des actions insignifiantes. Ils<br>
n'ont pas le droit d'avoir autant d'enfants qu'ils le désirent. C'est la<br>
LOI qui leur dit qu'ils n'ont pas le droit de procréer.<br>
<br>
Ce sujet a pendant longtemps été d'actualité et à l'agenda des dirigeants du<br>
monde entier. C'était un sujet de discussion à l'ONU. Il n'y a jamais eu<br>
d'accord à ce sujet mais maintenant, pour quelques raisons, tout le monde<br>
semble avoir oublier cette situation.<br>

Est-ce que ce que l'arrêt de ces discussions est dû à l'arrêt de ces mauvais<br>
traitements? Bien sûr que non, les Chinois sont simplement plus subtils.<br>
Ils ont adoptés cette approche parce que maintenant les grandes compagnies<br>
passe.<br>

Les choses changent en Chine, le plus gros McDonald's se trouver à Beijing,<br>
la capitale de Chine, l'internet a fait son entrée dans ce pays. Le<br>
problème est que l'internet est censurée. Plusieurs sites sont mit sur une<br>
liste noire. De plus, les fournisseurs internet sont obligés par la loi de<br>
se soummettre à la surveillance gouvernementale.<br>
<br>
Les Chinois essaient de fuir leur pays natal. Ils sont prêts à payer 10000<br>
et meme 20000$ US pour quitter leur pays à bord de bateaux insalubres où ils<br>
risquent leurs vies. Cela démontre qu'il y a quelque chose qui ne va pas.<br>
<br>
Vous pouvez faire quelque chose. Vous pouvez écrire des e-mail aux<br>
dirigeants chinois ou à votre gouvernement pour leur faire savoir que vous<br>
vous souciez de cette situation. Vos actions peuvent faire une différence.<br>
<br>
Au gouvernement chinois : donnez au peuple de Chine les droits qu'ils<br>
méritent!!<br>

<p><font face=Arial size=2>Vandaag de dag hebben de mensen in China nog steeds niet de rechten die ze zouden moeten hebben. Er zijn meer dan 1.200.000.000 mensen in China op dit moment en ze worden geregeerd door een communistische regering die zegt wat ze moeten doen.<br>
<br>
Mensen worden gearresteert, gemartelt, of krijgen extreme straffen for kleine dingen. Mensen in China mogen niet meer dan een
kind hebben: als er een tweede kind geboren wordt, wordt het opgegeven
voor adoptie en krijgen de ouders een zware boete.<br>
<br>
Er werd vroeger over gediscussieert, gepraat, dit was een punt op de agenda van de wereld leiders. Het was de punt van discussie helemaal tot in de VN. Niemand vond het goed wat er gebeurde. Ik denk niet dat iemand het nu wel goed vind, maar voor de een of andere reden is het nu doodstil rond dat onderwerp.<br>

Waarom vraag je je misschien af. Omdat de Chinese overheid ermee gestopt is? Natuurlijk niet, het gebeurt gewoon meer en meer achter gesloten deuren. Maar er is meer: de grote bedrijven investeerdde en investeren meer en meer geld in de chinese economie omdat het een goede bron van goedkope, degelijke arbeid is. Ze (grote bedrijven, media) willen niet dat je weet wat er echt gebeurt.<br>

Dingen zijn aan het veranderen in China, de grootste McDonalds in de wereld is in Peking, de hoofdstad van China. Het Internet heeft ook China bereikt. Er zijn een paar keer meer illegale Microsoft kopieen dan er echte Microsoft produkten zijn in China.
Maar....<br>
Het internet is wordt ook gecensureerd. Veel sites mogen niet en worden op blacklists gezet, IP providers moeten van de wet controle van hun verkeer door de overheid toelaten.<br>
Mensen proberen weg te komen, een beter leven te krijgen. Het is duidelijk dat ze daarvoor groot geld willen betalen, 10.000, 20.000$ US voor een ticket naar de VS of Europa. Ze gaan op krakkemikkige bootjes en riskeren hun leven alleen maar om in een ander land te zijn. Dan moet er toch iets verkeerd zijn.<br>
<br>
Jij kan helpen door te schrijven en te E-mailen naar de Chinese overheid en je eigen overheid om ze te laten merken dat je hier om geeft en dat je wilt helpen.<br>
<br>
Aan de Chinese overheid: geef de mensen in China de rechten die ze
zouden moeten hebben.<br>

en vergeet niet de groepen en sites die er toe doen te bezoeken en te helpen. Zoals:
