<P>After spending the previous three seasons as the wide receivers coach and recruiting coordinator at Ole Miss, Greg Knox, 35, joins coach Tuberville at Auburn to become the Tigers new receivers coach and recruiting coordinator.
<P>Knox, a native of Rosebud, Texas, attended Northeastern State University in Oklahoma where he played quarterback from 1982-86. While at Northeastern, he received his B.S. degree in Education in 1986 and later his Masters in Education in 1990.
<P>Knox's coaching career began at his alma mater where he coached running backs, quarterbacks, and special teams in 1988 and 1989. In 1990 he joined the coaching staff at Texas Christian University where he coached special teams and the secondary. He remained there through the 1991 season before moving on to take over the wide receivers and special teams responsibilities at Stephen F. Austin University in Texas.
<P>During his time as coach at both Northeastern and Stephen F. Austin, Knox also found time to teach classes in Kinesiology. Knox stayed at Stephen F. Austin through the 1994 season before joining Coach Tuberville and his staff at Ole Miss in 1995. He solely coached wide receivers in 1995 before adding the role as recruiting coordinator to his duties. Knox remained at Ole Miss through the 1998 season before coming to the Plains to be the Tigers new wide receivers coach and recruiting coordinator.
<P>Knox is married to the former Toralyn Foster of Nacodoches, Texas.
