Entering his ninth season as the men's tennis coach, Eric Shore has established Auburn has one of the top tennis programs in the country.</font>
<P>Since coming to Auburn in 1991, Shore has guided the Tigers to four top 15 finishes and two NCAA Championship appearances. Last season, Shore led the Tigers to one of the most successful seasons in school history when he guided the Tigers to their second conseutive Regional Championship and a No. 12 national ranking.
<P>Under Shore's guidance, the Tigers have had seven All-American selections and nine All-SEC selections. In addition, 11 Tigers have participated in the NCAA Singles and Doubles Championships since Shore came to Auburn.
<P>A native of Canada, Shore graduated from Francis Marion College in Florence, S.C. in 1984. While at Francis Marion, Shore finished his playing career ranked 20th nationally in NAIA singles.
<P>In 1985, Shore took over as assistant coach at the University of South Carolina and helped lead the Gamecocks to a top five national ranking in 1989.
<P>In addition to his duties at Auburn, Shore serves as the Chairman of the NCAA Region III Committee, which is responsible for ranking and seeding players in the seven-state southeastern region.
<P>Shore and his wife Ann have one daughter, Brooke, 3.
