UK security 'expert' cracked?

Paul Smith, 29, a creator of Access Denied, was denied a mortgage at his
local bank, so he tells the press that he was cracked. Gen Technology,
his employer, had issued a challenge on the Internet defying people to
break into a computer network protected by its Access Denied system.
When the crackers couldn't get in they became upset and verbally
threatened Mr. Smith, so says this article. He later found "six default
notices and a County Court judgment to the financial records". No
confirmation from the bank is listed here, I am sure they would be
rather upset about being broken into. As a matter of fact this article
has no confirmation whatsoever, it reads like one big advertisement for
'Access Denied'

cracked. DIVX Hack is supposedly a box that intercepts the telephone
calls your DIVX box makes to fool the box into thinking that your
account has been debited. This allows you to watch DIVX movies over and
over again for free. DIVX Hack is being sold for $150. The question is
does it work?
