In an attempt to test the security of many firewalls Federal Computer Week hired several "security companies" to try to break through them. Most of the firewalls held up beautifully. Which I find pretty amazing. I am surprised that the "security experts" at Deloitte and Touche, Ernst & Young and Security Design International Inc. could not do much better than simple DoS attacks.

It seems hypocritical of the US Government to be releasing pr0n to the public (i.e. Kenneth Star Report) and at the same making such actions criminal.<p>
The Child Online Protection Act (CDA II) (H.R. 3783) requires web admins to limit access to
material considered 'harmful to minors'. The bill has passed the full Commerce Committee and is on its way to the House. Lets hope they are do busy dealing with Monica to vote this session.
