I initially described the scenario at https://groups.google.com/forum/#!topic/taffy-users/UHoTum4bjY8

But basically if I put my components in a /resources directory they are loaded OK in the dashboard. But if I don't and I just try to use coldspring it does not work and the resources are never loaded.

The example app /taffy/examples/api_coldspring shows the same behavior where the coldspring stuff is not loaded into taffy.

I am using coldspring v1.2 and taffy

As a further debugging step (beyond those in the group discussion) I also made sure my applicationStartEvent called super.onApplicationStart()

NOTE: I think the documentation is, perhaps, misleading by having applicationStartEvent when really that code should be in the onApplicationStart (https://github.com/atuttle/Taffy/wiki/So-you-want-to:-use-an-external-bean-factory-like-coldspring-to-completely-manage-resources)

I've also tried naming my bean ids as lockLineMember and lockLineCollection

my api components are currently at
/warp/components/api/Lock/LineMember.cfc
/warp/components/api/Lock/LineCollection.cfc

Yes, the docs are definitely out of date on the whole application.cfc method change-over. If you wanted to update them and send a pull request, that would be most helpful! ;)
